Lipidfiltration (lipid filtration) Technology

Lipidfiltration (lipid filtration) Technology

According to research,  1 in every 10 people suffers from high cholesterol, which may result in hyperlipidemia.  Any blood vessel in our body will lead may subject to hardening of the arteries because of the high cholesterol. Symptoms of mild coronary artery diseases include angina (chest pain) ; severe heart attack will lead to death.

Lipidfiltration techonology is to use filter tubes to remove bad cholesterol and bring cleansed blood back to the body. Lipidfiltration technology has been used to for almost 30 years to mainly to avoid blockage,  stroke, myocardial infarction and other serious complications. Lipidfitration technology may also be used to help systemic lupus erythematosus patients in the emergency cerebral hemorrhage and myasthenia gravis.

Once the level of cholesterol reaches 200 milligrams per one milliliter, physicians will ask the patients to reduce  intake of cholesterol through a low-cholesterol diet (crude fiber, brown rice, etc.) and the increase metabolism in cholesterol by exercising.  Medication will be prescribed if necessary. When the above mentioned treatments result in no improvement, the lipidfiltration technology will be next.

The lipidfiltration procedure  takes about three hours. The patient blood are drawn from the vein on the left elbow and separated out by the filters to remove low and very low density lipoprotein, which are  bad cholesterol, the cleansed blood will be brought back in the body through the vein on the right elbow. Chest tightness and weakness will gradually disappear during the procedure. Although lipidfiltration will result in immediate improvement, however, after all, it is invasive. Side effects such as high blood pressure or allergies may occur. Patients should remain in low cholesterol diet, continue exercise, and take medication as directed.
